Welcome to the RuneScapez forums!
We are a friendly community with forums and much more for your convenience. We do however, have a set of guidelines in which we would like you to follow. We will not tolerate rule breaking. Following these guidelines will not only help improve your experience of RuneScapez for yourself, but others also. Please take the time to read and follow these guidelines. Please keep in mind that the Administration reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time if you do not follow these guidelines.
Rule One - Offensive/Inappropriate Language
These forums are open for anyone to use, and because of this anything you say must be suitable for anyone under thirteen years of age. This rule is also in place to help make your experience of RuneScapez more enjoyable for yourself and others. Offensive language is not welcome here. We expect you to treat somebody as you would like to be treated yourself. Using offensive language to abuse any member here at RuneScapez will not be tolerated. This includes swearing, bullying, threatening, vulgar or language of sexual context isn't allowed. RuneScapez has members of the community who Moderate these forums, and they will not tolerate this rule being broken.
Trolling or harassing another user here at RuneScapez will be taken very seriously. We want our users to have the best experience possible. Each and every member of RuneScapez is valued and respected; and anybody attempting to disrupt ones experience will be dealt with immediately.
Racist or discriminating language to anybody is not allowed. This will be taken very seriously, and rest assured, we will do everything within our power to make your experience here as good as possible.
Rule Two - Advertising
RuneScapez is not here for you to advertise. It is understood of course, that you may want your site advertised, and that is fine as long as it doesn't contradict these guidelines:
A maximum of three websites may be advertised in a signature. Advertised websites must NOT be RuneScape related apart from RuneScapez or RuneScape themselves, this means you may not advertise any other RuneScape Fansite. The only exception to this is signatures from other sites.
Spamming the forums or chatbox to get your site noticed will not be tolerated, and will always be dealt with.
Links to inappropriate websites are not allowed. Advertising rival Fansites is also against the guidelines. The only exception to this rule is signatures from another Fansite.
Rule Three - False Representations
You may not impersonate any member of the community without their consent, and it must not be with malicious intent. If the user in question asks you to stop, you must. Anything offensive said about another member is against the guidelines and will be dealt with immediately. Any attempt to mislead another user will not be tolerated.
You may role play on the chatbox with another name as long as the context is appropriate. If you are asked to stop by a Moderator or Administrator, you must immediately.
Pretending to be a member of Staff to mislead somebody will not be tolerated, and action will be taken against you. Remember, the Staff will never ask you to do anything that will compromise breaking the rules.
If you feel anybody has said anything offensive or is trying to impersonate or mislead you, feel free to contact a Moderator or Administrator and they will help sort it out for you.
Rule Four - Misuse of the RuneScapez Forums
The RuneScapez forums are here your benefit. You must not search and/or try to exploit any bugs you may find. This could range from anything from gaining post count or gaining access to areas of the forum in which you should not be. If you think you may have found or accidentally used a bug, report it to the Administration immediately. As long as you do not use it again then you are not in the wrong.
The Forums are a place for constructive and healthy discussions, and spam is not welcome. If you continually spam the Forums you will find your access to them revoked.
Intentionally placing threads in the wrong Forum will not be tolerated. Neither will any inappropriate threads discussing content which is not relevant.
We will not allow discussion which encourage breaking the RuneScape rules, or anything along the lines of swearing, bullying, threatening, vulgar or language of sexual context.
The maximum signature size is 450 Pixels by 150 Pixels. Please do not use anything bigger as it dominates your forum posts.
Rule Five - Misuse of the RuneScapez Chatbox
The RuneScapez Chatbox is open for clean, friendly chatting; it isn't here to spam or disrupt others. All discussion should adhere to the guidelines discussed here, and any messages that don't will be hidden. If users decide to continuously break rules or ignore a Moderator/Administrator's warning they can risk being muted.
You are not permitted to ask anybody for any of their personal details. RuneScapez is a safe community and we will not tolerate anybody attempting to find any information of others which could have a impact on somebody's life.
Rule Six - Misuse of the RSZ Website
The RSZ Website is in place for both our members and our visitors; members will have additional access to it, however all visitors have the right to view the website without intervention from a member. You should not try and submit anything malicious or offensive in any way. Spamming the databases will not be tolerated and action will be taken if it is continuous.
It is not permitted to use any form of script to modify the output of the RuneScapez website.
If you are found to be breaking this rule, you will receive a warning and be politely asked to stop. Any repeat offenses may result in a suspension from RuneScapez or termination of your account.
